People who always think that other people are the problem

A lot of people keep thinking that other people are the problem. Regards of whether they are actually good at their own job or not. It could be either way. But other people are always the problem to them.

The Fundamental Attribution Error

​This is the tendency to explain other people's behavior by overemphasizing internal, dispositional factors (like their personality, skill, or attitude) and underemphasizing external, situational factors (like context, difficulty of the task, or lack of resources).

  • Example: If someone else misses a deadline, we think, "They are lazy/incompetent." (Internal). If we miss a deadline, we think, "The requirements were unclear/I had too much to do." (External).

Self-Serving Bias

​This is a motivation-based error where people attribute successes to internal factors (I succeeded because I am smart) and failures to external factors (I failed because the test was unfair or the circumstances were bad). Blaming others for problems helps protect one's own ego and perceived competence.

Lack of Perspective

​It's often genuinely difficult to know the full context of another person's situation. We have all the context for our own actions and efforts, but we only see the end results or outward behavior of others, leading us to draw simpler, less charitable conclusions.

Group Dynamics

​In a team or organizational setting, blaming an "other" can sometimes be a way for a group or individual to deflect responsibility, simplify a complex issue, or maintain internal cohesion by identifying an external scapegoat.
